Racing Incident Report
QUICK NEWS missed the start. On jumping, EAST OCEAN DRAGON shifted out abruptly and bumped BLESSINGS' PARTNER. Just after the start, CONGEE KING was crowded for room between STRONG SUN and OVER SUBSCRIBE, both of which shifted some ground. Near the 800 Metres, LUCKY BIRD and DJEREED came together. About the 800 Metres, TOUCH OF CLASS threw its head about when awkwardly placed close to the heels of EAST OCEAN DRAGON. After the 600 Metres, LUCKY BIRD lost its position when crowded for room between DJEREED and BLESSINGS' PARTNER. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, THE ONLY ONE hung out rather badly. PALETTE NATURAL, STRONG SUN and FAST TRACK were sent for sampling. After the race, HIGH FIVE was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He said the horse had a heart irregularity. This is the first occasion on which such a report has been made in relation to HIGH FIVE. Before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and must pass an official veterinary examination.
