Racing Incident Report
PEAK POWER began very awkwardly and bounded in the air, causing W M Lai, its rider, to become unbalanced. TRILLION WIN was slow into stride. Shortly after the start, VICTORY WARRIOR (K C Tsang) shifted in at an acute angle to the rail. K C Tsang was warned against shifting at too an acute angle. In the early stages, PRIME WITNESS proved difficult to settle. At the 800 Metres, SUN SHINE RIVER became unbalanced when close to the heels of BEVERLY GREEN. In the early part of the Straight, HAPPY MOMENTUM was unable to obtain clear running. At about the 300 Metres, CENTURY STAR and SUPER MOLLY came together as a result of CENTURY STAR shifting to the outside of RAIDER to obtain clear running. For some distance after the 300 Metres, BEVERLY GREEN was held up and unable to obtain clear running when racing behind TRILLION WIN. To obtain clear running, BEVERLY GREEN was shifted to the inside of VICTORY WARRIOR at about the 150 Metres. When BEVERLY GREEN was shifted in, some inconvenience was caused to SUN SHINE RIVER. CENTURY STAR and RAIDER were sent for sampling.
