Racing Incident Report
Prior to the race, BABY KING was found to have abrasions to the right hind cannon and left hind stifle. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer and after the necessary consultations was considered suitable to race. SPECTACULAR HIT and DANEPRINT were slow to begin. BEAUTY PLUS began very awkwardly and lost ground. SOUNDS BETTER hung out badly over the final 300 Metres. DANEPRINT was inclined to lay out during the race. BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY, which weakened from the 500 Metres and finished a distant last, was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. The Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had returned distressed after the race and was displaying a heart irregularity. Before BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SOUNDS BETTER and CHING HOI BOY were sent for sampling.
