Racing Incident Report

ROMANTIC SYMPHONY was slow to begin. NEVER SAY NEVER began awkwardly and got its head up. On jumping, CIRCUIT KINGDOM and GRAND FIGHTER bumped. Shortly after the start, HUANGDI, LUCKY SUPERSTAR and SPRING FOUNTAIN were crowded for room between ILIKETOSMILE and GLORIOUS LIGHT, both of which shifted ground. At the 900 Metres, WELL EXPRESS got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CIRCUIT KINGDOM which steadied in front of it. DOLBRIDGE, which was following, was steadied in consequence. Near the 800 Metres, GLORIOUS LIGHT was crowded for room inside SHINING GEM which when proving difficult to settle endeavoured to improve inside the heels of SPRING FOUNTAIN when there was insufficient room. In the circumstances, no action was taken. After the 800 Metres, GLORIOUS LIGHT was steadied when crowded for room between SHINING GEM and HUANGDI which when making the turn hung out. At the 100 Metres, NEVER SAY NEVER and TAMAR bumped as a result of both horses shifting ground. ROMANTIC SYMPHONY and SPRING FOUNTAIN were sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, ROMANTIC SYMPHONY was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. No significant findings were made. Following the race, SPRING FOUNTAIN was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He noted the horse to be trotting unevenly in front. TRIUMPHANT GLORY and GRAND FIGHTER were sent for sampling.
