Racing Incident Report

BEST EVER was slow to begin. NON SEQUITUR was crowded for room between MISSION POSSIBLE which shifted in and MILLENNIUM LEGEND which shifted out. OH GREAT was slow to begin and then shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of LUCK AND FORTUNE which shifted out. From the outside barrier, KING HORSE was momentarily steadied and shifted across behind runners to a position close to the rail. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, MILLENNIUM LEGEND was steadied when crowded for room between JOYFUL HEART and NON SEQUITUR. About the 1300 Metres, NON SEQUITUR and JOYFUL HEART were momentarily crowded for room by MISSION POSSIBLE which shifted in when barely clear. At the 1200 Metres, BEIJING DOLLAR was hit on the head by a piece of rubber which is used to cover the joint in the running rail, this rubber was displaced as a result of MISSION POSSIBLE brushing the running rail. At the 900 Metres, KING HORSE got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of JOYFUL HEART. On the latter part of the Home Turn, KING HORSE and HAIL WINNER were momentarily held up for clear running. NON SEQUITUR was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, NON SEQUITUR was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. OH GREAT and BEST EVER were sent for sampling.
