Racing Incident Report

On jumping, CENDAMY sprawled in front, shifted in abruptly and bumped FORTUNE LAD which as a result was checked. LATIN DANCER and SING AND DRINK were slow to begin. Approaching the first turn, SING AND DRINK shifted out. This caused inconvenience to AMBITION which was steadied, became unbalanced and lost its footing behind. In the early stages, UTMOST EASY proved difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MULTIPERFECTION. Also in the early stages, BARFOLD HERO proved difficult to settle and at the 900 Metres got its head up and was steadied away from the heels of AMBITION. Near the 800 Metres, after being crossed by LASER GLORY, CENDAMY, which was proving difficult to settle, shifted out. This caused some inconvenience to TELECOM TYCOON. Near the 300 Metres, O Doleuze (FORTUNE LAD) dropped his whip. Near the 200 Metres, BLESSINGS' PARTNER was steadied away from the heels of UTMOST EASY. Near the 100 Metres, RICARDO, which was closing the race off, was steadied and shifted in to avoid the heels of BLESSINGS' PARTNER which shifted out. Over the concluding stages, BARFOLD HERO was awkwardly placed between the heels of TELECOM TYCOON and AMBITION. Because of this, BARFOLD HERO was not ridden out to the line as it normally would be. In the Straight, AMBITION hung in. SING AND DRINK was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, SING AND DRINK was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. LASER GLORY and AMBITION were sent for sampling.
