Racing Incident Report
SEASONS TREASURE was withdrawn on 18.4.03 on veterinary grounds (lame right fore leg) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter MULTIWINNING (S Dye). Before being permitted to race again, SEASONS TREASURE will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. MADE TO FIGURE was slow to begin. On jumping, GOLD FIELD and OLYMPIC GOLD bumped. Also on jumping, TRIUMPHANT FEELING shifted in and bumped DIAMOND MOON. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, LUCKY TWINS got its head on the side and shifted out. Near the 1300 Metres, MADE TO FIGURE became unbalanced and brushed the running rail. For some distance approaching the 600 Metres, CLASSA WIN and MULTIWINNING bumped as CLASSA WIN endeavoured to shift to the outside of DIAMOND MOON which itself was shifting out to obtain clear running. After the 600 Metres, MULTIWINNING went forward which allowed CLASSA WIN to shift from behind DIAMOND MOON. CLASSA WIN, OLYMPIC GOLD and EXPLOSIVE POWER were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted CENTURY HORSE was making a mild abnormal breathing noise. The Veterinary Officer examined the horse and an endoscopic examination showed it to be an early "roarer".
