Racing Incident Report

ELITE WIN began awkwardly, shifted in and was steadied away from the heels of TIRAMISU. GREAT SENSATION and KING OF SPADES were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, when being steadied to shift across behind runners, GOOD BOY got its head up when close to the heels of EL VIENTO. Then after the 1500 Metres, when improving to the inside of EL VIENTO, GOOD BOY was steadied when EL VIENTO was carried in slightly by FLYING SUCCESS. No action was taken. In the early stages, EL VIENTO proved difficult to settle. Approaching the 1000 Metres, ELITE WIN was steadied when crowded for room between FANTASTIC WIN and EL VIENTO which when proving difficult to settle was taken in slightly by FLYING SUCCESS which in turn was taken in slightly by LUCKY DICE. At the 600 Metres, EL VIENTO was steadied away from the heels of EAST OCEAN DRAGON which was giving ground. After the 300 Metres, GOOD BOY was steadied when momentarily disappointed for running between GREAT SENSATION and EAST OCEAN DRAGON which shifted in when giving ground. For some distance near the 100 Metres, LUCKY DICE and FANTASTIC WIN raced tight due to LUCKY DICE shifting in when being ridden out. GOOD BOY was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, GOOD BOY was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. ELITE WIN and TIRAMISU were sent for sampling.
