Racing Incident Report
MULTI-WIN began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped FAST TRACK. CHAMPION WINNER began awkwardly and lost ground. BEEP BEEP was slow to begin. ILIKETOSMILE began awkwardly, causing K S Yu, its rider, to become unbalanced. In the early stages, MAXIMUM JOY hung in. Making the turn at the 700 Metres, FORTUNE MAPLE got its head on the side and hung in. Also making the turn at the 700 Metres, CHAMPION WINNER was shifted out to a position behind CHINA WORLD. This caused slight inconvenience to MAXIMUM JOY and GO GET THEM which were carried wider. After this, GO GET THEM continued to race wide and without cover. When giving ground in the Straight, DOWN FOR THE COUNT hung out. D Whyte (MULTI-WIN) was fined $2,000 for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post. MAXIMUM JOY was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, MAXIMUM JOY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings. MULTI-WIN and SHARE THE FUN were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported CHATER JADE had bled from both nostrils.
