Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, MAGNIFIER bounded in the air, began awkwardly, was then steadied away from the heels of SUPREME RABBIT which also on jumping got its head up and began awkwardly. INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall, because of this D Whyte's right foot shifted in the stirrup. Shortly after the start, he reached down with his hand to re-position his foot. In the early stages, SUPREME RABBIT proved difficult to settle and near the 1700 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of NATIVE DREAM. Shortly after straightening, CHEERS HONG KONG was hampered and carried wider by SUPREME RABBIT which was shifting to the outside of HELENE VITALITY to obtain clear running. After the 400 Metres when placed under pressure, NATIVE DREAM hung out. Because of this, B Prebble, its rider, stopped riding, straightened and changed the whip into the left hand. MAGNIFIER and GIFT were sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of both MAGNIFIER and GIFT after the race did not show any significant findings. BEETHOVEN and NATIVE DREAM were sent for sampling.
