Racing Incident Report

VICTORY MARBLE began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall, then shifted further ground and made contact with WISHMASTER. On jumping, FANTASTICO got its head up. Shortly after the start, DESERT STORM became unbalanced when being steadied away from the hindquarters of TAKING THE LEAD. After the 900 Metres, SUPER FANTASY got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of VICTORY MARBLE. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, KALIMANTAN hung out. In the middle stages, MAJESTIC FEELING hung out. On straightening, BRAVE KNIGHT was held up and unable to improve between TAKING THE LEAD and TIRAMISU. After the 400 Metres, BRAVE KNIGHT was shifted to the outside of TIRAMISU into clear running and then when being ridden out drifted out and finished wide on the track. Also after the 400 Metres, SOUTHERN LIGHT was held up and unable to improve between FANTASTICO and MASTER YING. WISHMASTER, which had been following SOUTHERN LIGHT, was steadied when disappointed for running inside that horse and shifted to its outside. For a considerable distance after the 400 Metres, SUPER FANTASY was held up and unable to improve between TAKING THE LEAD and MAJESTIC FEELING which was continuing to hang out. D Whyte (MAJESTIC FEELING) reported that the horse hung out and in the Straight did not respond to his riding. He said after the race he was of the opinion MAJESTIC FEELING was short in its action. MAJESTIC FEELING was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. A veterinary examination of MAJESTIC FEELING after the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, MAJESTIC FEELING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. WHATA FEELING and BRAVE KNIGHT were sent for sampling.
