Racing Incident Report
CLASSA FOR EVER was withdrawn on 7.12.04 on veterinary grounds (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter GOLDEN CARE (D Dunn). Before being allowed to race again, CLASSA FOR EVER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SNIPPEDYDOODA began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of ARMONDO. CZAR OF PRUSSIA bounded in the air at the start, bumped the outside gate of its stall and lost ground. STRONG SUN, which was standing badly, was slow to begin. KIDDYLAND was slow to begin, then shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between DASHING WINNER and FIGHTING MASCOT, both of which shifted ground. Passing the winning post the first time, STRONG SUN was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of SNIPPEDYDOODA. Making the turn at the 1000 Metre mark, ROYAL ARMY hung out and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FIGHTING MASCOT. Near the 400 Metres, ROYAL ARMY was checked off the heels of GOLDEN CARE which was weakening. KIDDYLAND, which was following, was hampered in consequence. Passing the 300 Metres, ROYAL ARMY was momentarily awkwardly placed on the heels of DETERMINATION. Near the 150 Metres, NOBLE CHAMPION was checked when crowded for room inside GOLDEN CARE which was taken in slightly by KIDDYLAND which shifted to the inside of DETERMINATION to improve. DETERMINATION was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DETERMINATION after the race did not show any significant findings. STRONG SUN, FIGHTING MASCOT and PRINCE GOLF were sent for sampling.
