Racing Incident Report

WINNING KEVIN began awkwardly and lost ground. KIDDY SING was slow to begin and then was bumped by CLASSA WIN. STRATEGIC SELECT was slow to begin. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, DREAMS COME TRUE, which was awkwardly placed inside WINNING POWER, shifted in and was steadied away from the heels of SNIPPEDYDOODA. For the major part of the race, SNIPPEDYDOODA hung out badly , near the 1300 Metres shifted ground, causing some inconvenience to DREAMS COME TRUE, near the 1100 Metres shifted out and was checked away from the heels of WINNING POWER, near the 1000 Metres shifted out across the heels of WINNING POWER, causing inconvenience to DREAMS COME TRUE and MULTI MILLIONS, both of which were carried wider. Then making the turn at the 600 Metres SNIPPEDYDOODA shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WINNING POWER which as a result became unbalanced. WINNING KEVIN brushed the running rail near the 1000 Metres and again near the 600 Metres. For the major part of the race, FREEBIRD hung out and in the Home Straight hung in. Throughout the race, MULTI MILLIONS raced wide and without cover. STRATEGIC SELECT was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, STRATEGIC SELECT was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in the left front leg. Before being permitted to race again, STRATEGIC SELECT will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DREAMS COME TRUE, DANEHILL WARRIOR and CLASSA WIN were sent for sampling.
