Racing Incident Report

TOY QUEST was slow to begin, then was checked when crowded for room between DANRIVA which shifted in after being bumped by GOLCONDA and STRONG SUN which began awkwardly and shifted out. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, WINNING SUNSHINE was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of GOLCONDA which itself was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of DASHING CHAMPION. For some distance near the 1300 Metres, DANRIVA was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of MIGHTY HUGO. Approaching the turn at the 600 Metres, GOLCONDA got its head on the side and hung in. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, MIGHTY HUGO was carried wider by STRONG SUN. Also making the turn at the 600 Metres, DR WELL got its head on the side, shifted in and bumped OSCAR STAR which as a result became unbalanced. Shortly after straightening, TOY QUEST was bumped by MIGHTY HUGO. Near the 250 Metres, WINNING SUNSHINE was checked and shifted out when disappointed for running inside PAOBRIDGE. After the 100 Metres, TOY QUEST, which was closing the race off, was steadied and shifted to the outside of DASHING CHAMPION to continue going forward. OSCAR STAR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of OSCAR STAR after the race did not show any significant findings. STRONG SUN, DR WELL and MIGHTY HUGO were sent for sampling.
