Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, FLASH HARRY became very fractious. FLASH HARRY was removed from its stall and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. When FLASH HARRY became fractious, TRIUMPHANT GLORY lunged forward and broke through the front gate of its stall. TRIUMPHANT GLORY was quickly reined in and returned to the Start where it was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was also suitable to race. Before being allowed to race again, FLASH HARRY will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. On jumping, DEFLECT was bumped by ABORIGINAL which shifted out. As a result, DEFLECT shifted out and caused crowding on its outside to METRO LEADER, HANDBAG FORTUNE and WISDOM EXPRESS. As a result of this crowding, HANDBAG FORTUNE was unable to maintain its position. Shortly after the start, FREE WAY and FLASH HARRY were steadied and lost their position when crowded for room between RACING SPIRIT and CASH BABY, both of which shifted ground. For the major part of the race, MODERN INTEREST and SHINY RIBBON hung in. Also for the major part of the race, CASH BABY hung out and near the 700 Metres shifted ground, causing slight inconvenience to TRIUMPHANT GLORY. FLASH HARRY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of FLASH HARRY after the race did not show any significant findings. SHINY RIBBON and RACING SPIRIT were sent for sampling.
