Racing Incident Report

NEW MILESTONE was withdrawn on 5.5.05 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter TELECOM TYCOON. Before being allowed to race again, NEW MILESTONE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. When the gates opened, GLOBAL FORTUNE got its head up, was slow to begin and then in the early stages was reluctant to stride out, as a consequence lost a significant amount of ground. On jumping, SHINING DRAGON stumbled. Also on jumping, TELECOM TYCOON dipped. Near the 1200 Metres, LUCKY DANSKE was steadied away from the heels of GUNG HO (O Doleuze) which shifted in when not properly clear. O Doleuze was advised to exercise more care. At the 1200 Metres, LUCKY DANSKE and FANTASTIC STAR bumped. At the 1000 Metres, WIN FOR ALL was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of NOBLE MAN which shifted in when not properly clear. At the 300 Metres, HANDBAG PREMIER was steadied when disappointed for running between NOBLE MAN and INSIDE MAIL. BEVERLY DREAM was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. A veterinary inspection of BEVERLY DREAM after the race did not show any significant findings. GUNG HO and SHINING DRAGON were sent for sampling.
