Racing Incident Report
EXCELLENT BOY began awkwardly and lost ground. SMARTY was slow to begin. HIGHLAND DAWN was a little slow to begin and then was steadied away from the heels of CASH BABY which shifted out. Shortly after the start, SKY HIGH was steadied away from the heels of CASH BABY. Near the 900 Metres, SUPER SPRINT was checked when crowded for room outside CASH BABY which despite the efforts of its rider got its head on the side, hung out and shifted ground. In the circumstances, no action was taken. Near the 600 Metres, SUPER SPRINT and CHOICE AND CHANCE were checked when crowded for room between CASH BABY and SKY HIGH which was taken out by SMARTY which in turn was carried out by ARIGATO which after initially being carried out by FORTE (A Delpech) got its head on the side and shifted away from that horse. In the circumstances, the Stewards did not believe that any rider could be held fully accountable for the incident, therefore no action was taken, however, A Delpech was severely reprimanded for having runners to his outside unnecessarily tightened for room. Near the 100 Metres, CAPABILITY was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between MAXIMUM JOY and ARIGATO. FORTE and CASH BABY were sent for sampling.
