Racing Incident Report
DORDENMA was slow to begin. PEACH BLOSSOM began awkwardly and lost ground. SOUTH CHINA NINETY was a little slow to begin, then shifted out and bumped KAISER'S CHOIX, as a result became unbalanced and lost ground. At the 700 Metres, KAISER'S CHOIX was momentarily steadied away from the heels of WINNING CHAMP, then making the turn after the 600 Metres hung out badly and in the Straight gave ground. The performance of KAISER'S CHOIX was considered unacceptable. Before being permitted to race again, KAISER'S CHOIX will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. In the Straight, DORDENMA hung out. Over the concluding stages, SOUTHERN LIGHT hung in. C Munce (DON FELIPE) said in the early part of the Straight he rode his mount along with the whip in the backhand and it responded fairly. He said at about the 100 Metres when he shifted DON FELIPE to the outside of SOUTHERN LIGHT, he turned the whip into the forehand and DON FELIPE then closed the race off strongly. C Munce was told his explanation would be reported. KIMBO KID, SOUTHERN LIGHT and DON FELIPE were sent for sampling.
