Racing Incident Report

CHOICE AND CHANCE was slow to begin, then shortly afterwards lost further ground when bumped by KINGSTON MARBLE which was also slow to begin and shifted in after making contact with GRAND SUPREME. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, SUPREMACY was hampered and carried wider by SPEED FIGHTER which got its head on the side and hung out. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, MONEY MAN hung out. At the 250 Metres, GLORY YEARS got its head on the side and shifted in away from GRAND SUPREME which also shifted in. In this incident, GLORY YEARS bumped the running rail and became unbalanced. Near the 100 Metres, TOP SCORER, which was commencing to close the race off, was momentarily crowded for room between CHOICE AND CHANCE and FANTASTIC SUN. At about the 50 Metres, CHOICE AND CHANCE shifted in towards the heels of GLORY YEARS and because of this was not ridden out to the end of the race. In the Straight, FANTASTIC SUN hung in and proved difficult to ride. SPEED FIGHTER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SPEED FIGHTER after the race did not show any significant findings. GRAND SUPREME and DILIGENT were sent for sampling.
