Racing Incident Report
MOSHI MOSHI began awkwardly and lost ground. SUNRISE RAINBOW was slow to begin. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, ARISTOCRACY was unable to maintain its position. At the 400 Metres, CLASSIC KING was steadied and shifted to the outside of CHINOOK. After the 200 Metres, CYPRESS HILL was awkwardly placed outside the heels of HAPPY HEROES which at this time was shifting out to obtain clear running. Also after the 200 Metres, CHINOOK was steadied away from the heels of MOSHI MOSHI which shifted out. Near the 100 Metres, M W Leung (HAPPY HEROES) when endeavouring to improve into a narrow run between QUALITY-QUALITY (B Prebble) and JOYFUL YEARS was struck on the left hand by the whip of B Prebble, causing him to momentarily drop his left rein. For the major part of the race, WONG'S FAVOURITE travelled wide and without cover. ARISTOCRACY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ARISTOCRACY after the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY HEROES and JOYFUL YEARS were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported QUALITY-QUALITY had lost its left front plate.
