Racing Incident Report

FRUITY FRUITY and SATURN were slow to begin. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, SOUNDS BEST was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of BEETHOVEN. After passing the winning post on the first occasion, HIGH INTELLIGENT became unbalanced and dipped when racing close to the heels of LIBERAL'S CHOICE. In the early stages, SATURN proved difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, GOLDEN SUN became unbalanced when bumped by SOUNDS BEST which shifted in. From on straightening until the 150 Metres, SOUNDS BEST was not able to obtain clear running. At the 100 Metres, HAIL THE STORM, which was closing the race off strongly, was steadied and shifted out to continue going forward. Also at the 100 Metres, GOLDEN SUN, which had been experiencing some difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of LIBERAL'S CHOICE which got its head on the side and shifted ground. Throughout the race, SILVER SUN travelled wide and without cover. SOUNDS BEST was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SOUNDS BEST after the race did not show any significant findings. FRUITY FRUITY, FAMOUS DANCER and NILOMETER were sent for sampling.
