Racing Incident Report

STRAIGHT VICTORY began awkwardly and lost ground. On jumping, FABULOUS TREASURE was bumped by BULB TREASURE. Near the 1500 Metres, PILLOW KING, which was racing wide on the track, was steadied and taken back to a position with cover. Approaching and passing the winning post on the first occasion, STRAIGHT VICTORY became unbalanced when initially racing tight inside HURRICANE WAY which shifted ground when being steadied away from the heels of FABULOUS TREASURE. Near the 1300 Metres, HURRICANE WAY was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of FABULOUS TREASURE. For some distance approaching the 800 Metres, SPEED OF LIGHT proved difficult to settle when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FANTASTIC WIN. Passing the 800 Metres, PILLOW KING, which had been racing wide and without cover, was allowed to stride forward closer to the lead. However, PILLOW KING continued to race wide and without cover. At the 400 Metres, FANTASTIC WIN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of REWARDING STAR. A short distance later, FANTASTIC WIN was shifted to the outside of that horse. In the early part of the Straight, SPARKLE had some difficulty obtaining clear running between WINNING PATTERN and PLEASURE PLEASURE. In the Straight, DENDRANTHEMA LOVE hung in. PILLOW KING and FANTASTIC WIN were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of PILLOW KING and FANTASTIC WIN after the race did not show any significant findings. DENDRANTHEMA LOVE and SPARKLE were sent for sampling.
