Racing Incident Report

WINDICATOR RETURNS was slow to begin. On jumping, LUCKY RED and TREASURE RAIDERS were crowded for room between MR COOL and SOUTH CHINA ELITE, both of which shifted ground. Also on jumping, MASTER GUNNER was bumped by MEGA HILL which shifted out. Near the 800 Metres, MASTER GUNNER was checked to avoid the heels of WINDICATOR RETURNS (B Doyle) which shifted out while racing keenly and improving towards the heels of MEGA HILL. B Doyle was severely reprimanded and told he would be expected to show greater care to his fellow riders. After this, WINDICATOR RETURNS continued to prove difficult to settle. At the 400 Metres, WINDICATOR RETURNS became unbalanced when crowded for room between MR COOL and YOUNG LABEL which shifted in when improving towards the inside of SOUTH CHINA ELITE which also shifted in at this time. No action was taken. After the 300 Metres, WINDICATOR RETURNS was steadied when tightened for room between MEGA HILL which was giving ground and YOUNG LABEL which shifted in slightly. No action was taken. SOUTH CHINA ELITE was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SOUTH CHINA ELITE after the race did not show any significant findings. WHISKY POWER and YOUNG LABEL were sent for sampling.
