Racing Incident Report

SKYVIEW BAR began awkwardly, shortly afterwards shifted in and bumped YELLOW DIAMOND which was carried out by DIM SUM which got its head on the side and shifted ground. Shortly after the start, SANZIRO was checked and SUNNY POWER checked severely when crowded for room between KILDARE and NIGHTLIGN which got its head up and shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. No action was taken. At the 250 Metres, SKYVIEW BAR became unbalanced after being bumped by INSPIRATION. At the 200 Metres, RIVER JORDAN was steadied away from the heels of YELLOW DIAMOND. Over about the final 250 Metres, ENTHUSED (D Whyte) got its head on the side, commenced to hang out and shifted wider on the track and over about the final 100 Metres carried SACRED KINGDOM wider. Just prior to the winning post, SACRED KINGDOM, which was continuing to race tight outside ENTHUSED and bumped with that horse, was checked to avoid the heels of YELLOW DIAMOND (C K Tong) which shifted in. Both D Whyte and C K Tong were severely reprimanded. SUNNY POWER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SUNNY POWER after the race did not show any significant findings. SACRED KINGDOM, INSPIRATION and YELLOW DIAMOND were sent for sampling.
