Racing Incident Report

SUPER CAGA was withdrawn on 21.2.09 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter CHATER D’CAT. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER CAGA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. When the gates opened, THE GOODIES stood flat-footed and as a consequence was slow to begin. FASHFIELD was slow to begin. CHINA LUJIA began awkwardly, bounded in the air and lost ground. In the early stages, PALAIS D’OR from the outside barrier was ridden to go forward, then after the 1400 Metres when racing wide and without cover was taken back to a position with cover at the rear. After the 1100 Metres, TRIUMPHANT DIAMOND was left racing wide and without cover. Near the 700 Metres, ROCKET FORCE, which was racing wide and without cover, was steadied and taken back to a position with cover. For some distance approaching and passing the 300 Metres, ENDLESS LUCK was held up and unable to improve. PALAIS D’OR, KING DANCER and ENDLESS LUCK were sent for sampling.
