Racing Incident Report

HOT PEPPER began awkwardly and was slow to begin. From the outside barrier, LUCKY TYCOON was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Despite being ridden along vigorously in the early stages, COSMO SUCCESSOR failed to muster speed. Because of this, COSMO SUCCESSOR raced back in the field and after the 800 Metres was left racing wide and without cover. After the race, H W Lai reported that HONOUR LIST, which was having its first race start on the All Weather surface, did not stretch out throughout the event despite being ridden along. A veterinary inspection of HONOUR LIST after the race did not show any significant findings. SMART CHOICE and LUCKY TYCOON were sent for sampling.
