Racing Incident Report
JOYFUL LUCK was withdrawn on 23.3.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore foot). Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. TREND MASTER was slow to begin. GOLDEN OSMANTHUS was crowded for room at the start between EASTERN PROMISE and THE PEAK which shifted out. From the outside barrier, FINN MACCOOL was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. From on straightening until passing the 100 Metres, THE PEAK was held up for clear running. Passing the 100 Metres, THE PEAK and STERLING CITY bumped as THE PEAK improved into tight running between STERLING CITY and FIONN’S TREASURE. THE PEAK and FIONN’S TREASURE were sent for sampling.
