Racing Incident Report
LEADING CITY was withdrawn on 25.5.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left sinus infection). RICH UNICORN was also withdrawn on 25.5.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). BULLISH CHAMPION was withdrawn on 26.5.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, LEADING CITY, RICH UNICORN and BULLISH CHAMPION will all be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After having to be ridden along in the early stages to cross runners to its inside, ARRIVED AHEAD then proved difficult to settle. Near the 150 Metres, BEST ELEVEN was struck across the nose by the whip of T Clark (ABLE SPEED) when obtaining tight running between that horse and ARRIVED AHEAD. Over the concluding stages, BEST ELEVEN raced tight between ARRIVED AHEAD and CAPTAIN SWEET. BEST ELEVEN, CAPTAIN SWEET and ARRIVED AHEAD were sent for sampling.
