Racing Incident Report

LET ME HANDLE IT was slow to begin and then shortly after the start was steadied when crowded for room between RICH TAPESTRY and CHATER WAY, both of which shifted ground. In this incident, CHATER WAY and RICH TAPESTRY bumped.
From wide barriers, SILVER GRECIAN and BEAUTY FLASH were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Near the 700 Metres, VOILE ROUGE shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FULFIL A WISH, resulting in GREEN EAGLE being taken wider.
Passing the 400 Metres, FAT CHOY OOHLALA was awkwardly placed close to the heels of REAL SUPREME.
For the majority of the race, GREEN EAGLE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of KYARA after the race did not show any significant findings.
GREEN EAGLE, RICH TAPESTRY and LET ME HANDLE IT were sent for sampling.
<28/1/2013 Additional Veterinary Report>After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on RICH TAPESTRY at the request of Trainer C W Chang. The Veterinary Surgeon said that this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, RICH TAPESTRY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
