Racing Incident Report

Whilst in the saddling stalls, GRAN MASTER, had its left front plate refitted. GRAN MASTER was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
HINYUEN SWIFTNESS, which was fractious in the barriers, was slow to begin.
From a wide barrier, SURE PEACE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
For some distance approaching and passing the 1100 Metres, PLAY IT was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HINYUEN SWIFTNESS.
Passing the 500 Metres, BEST EFFORT raced in restricted room when attempting to improve into tight running between FOREVER POSH and GRAN MASTER.
Near the 450 Metres, BEST EFFORT was momentarily steadied when unable to proceed between FOREVER POSH and GRAN MASTER.
Passing the 200 Metres, ELUSIVE STATE shifted in and bumped FIVE STARS AGENT.
Near the 100 Metres, FOREVER POSH was shifted out away from the heels of ELUSIVE STATE which drifted out under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of HINYUEN SWIFTNESS and GOOD FIT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GRAN MASTER and FIVE STARS AGENT were sent for sampling.
18/9/2017 Additional Veterinary Report>HINYUEN SWIFTNESS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HINYUEN SWIFTNESS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C H Yip yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have a restricted action in both hind legs and to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HINYUEN SWIFTNESS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
