Racing Incident Report

From the outside barrier, RACING MATE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
DIAMOND MASTER was bumped by MY BEGINNER’S LUCK on jumping when that horse became unbalanced after being bumped by HAPPY COOPERATION.
Shortly after the start, OCULIST was steadied away from the heels of MOMENT OF POWER which shifted in.
Shortly after entering the Straight, HAPPY METEOR was steadied away from the heels of MONEY BOY which shifted out away from the heels of MY BEGINNER’S LUCK.
At the entrance to the Straight, MEGA HEART was shifted out away from the heels of DIAMOND MASTER to obtain clear running.
Passing the 250 Metres, MEGA HEART was again shifted out away from the heels of DIAMOND MASTER which shifted out under pressure.
Passing the 100 Metres, RACING MATE was directed to the inside of E-SUPER after being awkwardly placed behind that horse which shifted out under pressure.
Throughout the race, MY BEGINNER’S LUCK travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
After the race, M Chadwick reported that MONEY BOY made the turns, particularly the Home Turn, awkwardly and was inclined to lay out.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on MOMENT OF POWER at the request of Trainer P O’Sullivan. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MOMENT OF POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of MY BEGINNER’S LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MEGA HEART and E-SUPER were sent for sampling.
