Racing Incident Report

STRIVE FOR GLORY began awkwardly and then a short distance after the start lost ground when crowded for room between MEGA HEART and NAMJONG SINGS, both of which shifted slight ground.
PRANCE DRAGON was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover from a wide barrier.
From the outside barriers, ENSHRINED and HAFEET ALAIN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, NAMJONG SINGS shifted in and bumped SUNNY BOY.
Approaching the 800 Metres, NAMJONG SINGS raced tight outside SUNNY BOY which shifted to the outside of UTOPIA LIFE. After this, NAMJONG SINGS travelled wide and without cover. After the race, Apprentice K H Chan (NAMJONG SINGS) said that after being forced wider at the 800 Metres the horse immediately came off the bridle. He said after the 600 Metres NAMJONG SINGS commenced to give ground despite being vigorously ridden along and then did not finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of NAMJONG SINGS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Approaching the 500 Metres, MEGA HEART was momentarily crowded for room inside SUNSET WATCH (C Schofield) which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to MEGA HEART. C Schofield was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
SUNNY BOY, MEGA HEART and GOOD FOR YOU were sent for sampling.
