Racing Incident Report
GLOBAL HARMONY began only fairly.
PRIVATE ROCKET and YOUNG LIFE FOREVER brushed on jumping.
EXCELLENT DADDY and BEAUTY MISSION bumped at the start.
On jumping, STAR BRITE shifted out and brushed STORM LEGEND. After this, from wide barriers, STAR BRITE and STORM LEGEND were shifted across behind runners.
Shortly after the start, POWER KOEPP shifted out and bumped MAGIC SUPREME.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, GLOBAL HARMONY and STAR BRITE bumped. STORM LEGEND, which was racing outside STAR BRITE, was inconvenienced in consequence.
Approaching the turn near the 900 Metres, BEAUTY MISSION and POWER KOEPP raced tight. After this, POWER KOEPP was left racing very wide and without cover.
Also throughout the race, MERCURIAL travelled wide and without cover.
BEAUTY MISSION had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Approaching the 300 Metres, GLOBAL HARMONY was awkwardly placed behind EXCELLENT DADDY which itself was racing tight inside the heels of PRIVATE ROCKET. After being shifted to the inside of EXCELLENT DADDY near the 250 Metres, GLOBAL HARMONY was then badly held up for clear running until passing the 100 Metres.
Approaching the 200 Metres, EXCELLENT DADDY again raced tight inside the heels of PRIVATE ROCKET which shifted in marginally.
Passing the 100 Metres, STORM LEGEND was bumped by BEAUTY MISSION which improved into tight running between STORM LEGEND and POWER KOEPP.
Close to the finishing line, IMPERIAL MAGEE, which was closing the race off, was checked when unable to improve between MAGIC SUPREME and GLOBAL HARMONY which became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by IMPERIAL MAGEE.
Also close to the finishing line, MERCURIAL was checked away from the heels of EXCELLENT DADDY. Because of this, MERCURIAL was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
A veterinary inspection of STAR BRITE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BEAUTY MISSION, EXCELLENT DADDY and PRIVATE ROCKET were sent for sampling.
