Sent for sampling post-race. |
3 | 4 | TACTICAL COMMAND (H197) | Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. Approaching the 600 Metres made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced. Approaching the 100 Metres was held up behind GREAT DAYS before shifting to that runner’s inside and securing clear running passing the 100 Metres. |
4 | 3 | SUPER ELITE (H247) | Over the concluding stages was steadied when crowded by VIVA A LA (M F Poon) which shifted in, resulting in M L Yeung not being able to fully test his mount for a short period thereafter. M F Poon was reprimanded. |
5 | 2 | WIND SPEEDER (E281) | Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid MORE RICE (L Hewitson) which shifted in when not quite clear. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care. 6 | 9 | GREAT DAYS (H119) | Sent for sampling post-race. |

Approaching the 200 Metres was disappointed for clear running between CALL ME TEDDY and WIND SPEEDER and shifted to the outside of WIND SPEEDER after the 200 Metres to obtain clear running. Near the 100 Metres, when laying in, improved into a narrow run between CALL ME TEDDY and MORE RICE and as a result made contact with CALL ME TEDDY. |
9 | 7 | GOODMANSHIP (E208) | After the race, K C Leung stated that his mount enjoyed a good run in the event, but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |
12 | 11 | CALL ME TEDDY (G233) | Slow to begin. Near the 600 Metres lay in and away from MORE RICE, made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced.
