3 3 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) Making the first turn was taken wider by SUPERB CAPITALIST which shifted out when being shifted to the outside of HONG KONG HALL to go forward. Raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 1 CELESTIAL COLOURS (H362) Jumped only fairly and then was steadied when crowded for room between HAPPY FAT CAT and SUPERB CAPITALIST which shifted in. After the race, L Ferraris reported that it was his intention to be more forward on his mount but after receiving interference at the start settled further back.
5 7 GOLDEN TITLE (H100) Jumped only fairly.
6 6 RUN RUN COOL (E322) No report.
7 2 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) Jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced. After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to lead on the horse tonight and although SUPERB CAPITALIST jumped awkwardly, he elected to go forward on his mount to lead in accordance with his instructions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 5 HONG KONG HALL (G315) After the race, A Badel reported that he felt there was something amiss with his mount in the Home Straight and did not ride it out to the finish of the event when not in a competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of HONG KONG HALL was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HONG KONG HALL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
