2 DH 2 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 1 GOLDEN LONG (H462) Shortly after the start made contact with the hindquarters of HIGH PERCENTAGE when taken out slightly by LUCKY QUALITY, resulting in GOLDEN LONG having to be steadied. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, GOLDEN LONG will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. <25/4/2024 Additional Veterinary Reports> After the race, GOLDEN LONG was noted to have bled from both nostrils. GOLDEN LONG was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, GOLDEN LONG will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
5 11 COLONEL (D090) No report.
6 7 COSMO NAVIGATOR (H156) No report.
7 5 THE PERFECT MATCH (J253) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start by HERCULES which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Approaching the 100 Metres was shifted to the outside of GOLDEN LONG and COLONEL to continue into clear running and over the concluding stages raced tight between COLONEL and COSMO NAVIGATOR.
8 6 MR VALIANT (G288) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres was steadied when held up for clear running behind THE PERFECT MATCH. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running over the final 150 Metres and approaching the finish could not be ridden out when it improved close to GOLDEN LONG.
9 8 HERCULES (C476) Shortly after the start shifted in and got its head up when being corrected by its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 3 TOGEPI (G458) No report.
11 9 LUCKY QUALITY (D050) After the race, A Atzeni stated that the only explanation he could offer for his mount’s disappointing performance was that it would appreciate a firmer surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV 12 HAPPY FEELING (H443) Withdrawn on raceday afternoon by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY FELLING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
