12 1 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
13 5 ON THE LASH (J182) Commenced a forward move without cover from the 900 Metres and continued to race very wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. A Atzeni reported that his instructions were to take up a forward position, however, was unable to do so from the wide barrier. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position if possible. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 2 DIRIYA (K282) Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Z Purton reported that due to his mount not wanting to settle in the early and middle stages, in his opinion, was the reason for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of DIRIYA, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, DIRIYA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
