3 12 LUCKY CANDY (L041) Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of WHIZZ KID to continue into clear running.
4 5 ALPHA STRIKE (L019) Hung in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.
5 11 WONDERSTAR (J531) Near the 300 Metres was eased and shifted to the inside of BLUE ILLUSION to continue into clear running. Apprentice P N Wong stated that as the start was effected her mount sat back in the starting gate and as a consequence jumped awkwardly and lost ground. She said this resulted in WONDERSTAR settling further back in the field than intended.

7 7 TACTICAL ACE (L249) No report.
8 8 LOOKING BRIGHT (K315) When commencing to give ground near the 200 Metres was eased to avoid FAST RESPONDER (Apprentice H Y Yuen) which shifted out when not quite clear. Apprentice Yuen was advised to exercise more care. M F Poon reported that his mount was under pressure from the 400 Metres and did not respond to his riding thereafter. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

10 10 TACTICAL HORIZONS (L173) On jumping made contact with the left side of its starting gate and became unbalanced.
