4 3 FAMILY KNIGHT (K490) M L Yeung pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 250 Metres (see TYCOON EXPRESS).

8 11 SMILING FALCON (K459) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 4 AESTHETICISM (H289) Near the 250 Metres was steadied when badly crowded for room between TYCOON EXPRESS and FAMILY KNIGHT which shifted out.
10 12 AMAZING FUN (H442) Trainer C H Yip confirmed that with the horse stepping up in distance he had instructed M Chadwick to go forward as, in his opinion, he felt it was advantageous to race in that position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 5 MASSIVE GLORY (K205) Near the 250 Metres became unbalanced when it made contact with TYCOON EXPRESS. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 10 TYCOON EXPRESS (K376) Jumped awkwardly and then blundered shortly after the start. M L Yeung (FAMILY KNIGHT) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 250 Metres he allowed his mount to shift out when not clear of AESTHETICISM, resulting in AESTHETICISM being badly crowded and taken out onto TYCOON EXPRESS and also contributing to TYCOON EXPRESS becoming badly crowded to the inside of MASSIVE GLORY. M L Yeung was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 13 May 2026 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. J Moreira reported that after receiving interference near the 250 Metres he had some concern with his mount’s action thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 14 SPECIAL HEDGE (H354) Jumped only fairly and then became unbalanced when bumped by BIG RETURN which shifted in.
14 2 SHAMZ (L097) K Teetan stated that his mount was unable to finish the race off due to it racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
