1 12 SUPREME VOYAGER (L043) Jumped awkwardly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 AURORA PHOENIX (L452) Over the final 100 Metres lay out under pressure, resulting in its rider M L Yeung having to stop riding and straighten his mount near the 50 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 SUNNY Q (J223) Bumped at the start. Near the 100 Metres made slight contact with ARGENTO OCEAN when improving to the outside of ARGENTO OCEAN.
4 3 RUBY THRIVE (L098) Z Purton pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 150 Metres (see SPARKLING FELLOW).
5 13 GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) Approaching the 100 Metres was shifted to the inside of ZETA HEDGE to continue into clear running.
6 1 ARGENTO OCEAN (K322) Apprentice H Y Yuen dropped her whip near the 200 Metres. Bumped near the 100 Metres. Apprentice Yuen stated that shortly after the start her saddle shifted back, placing her at a disadvantage throughout the event.
7 6 BREAK HEAVEN (L342) Bumped at the start.
8 9 DAILY FUN (L231) No report.
9 14 ZETA HEDGE (K295) H T Mo reported that over the final 200 Metres his saddle shifted back, placing him at a disadvantage.
10 4 SPARKLING FELLOW (K175) Z Purton (RUBY THRIVE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift out when not clear of SPARKLING FELLOW, resulting in SPARKLING FELLOW losing its rightful running and being checked. Z Purton was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Sunday, 1 November 2026 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record.
11 8 ZOUPER FELLOW (K284) Apprentice P N Wong stated that her mount was pressured throughout the race, particularly when ZETA HEDGE improved to her outside in the early stages. She added that as a result ZOUPER FELLOW did not finish the race off over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
12 11 PRECISION MIND (L296) Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, PRECISION MIND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
13 7 EVER WEALTH (L317) No report.
14 2 HIGH PRAISE (L316) No report.
