3 6 D'OR WIN (CA092) F Coetzee TT1 Sat off leader. Remained same into straight then kept on well until losing 2nd place with 100 M to go. Held on fairly after that for 3rd.
4 10 MELROSE STAR (BS091) D Whyte -- Near rear. Improved gradually from 600 M to be the widest in midfield turning in. Made good ground in straight but unable to pick up placegetters.
5 2 UPTOMEEYES (BT299) M Kinane -- At rear after being checked in early stages. Remained same into home straight then once in clear made nice ground in run to the line.
6 4 PO ON POWER (BN258) J Egan B Near rear. Remained on inner around home bend then responded fairly to continue making ground from long way back.
7 9 WISHES (BT100) J Murtagh B Around midfield. Commenced to improve from 400 M but crowded and carried wider on straightening. Once balanced made some ground up to the 200 M then once-paced.
8 11 REALLY LUCKY (BS159) A Starke B- Midfield. Same until checked on straightening. Once balanced made moderate progress in straight.
9 1 ARABICA (BS254) Y T Cheng B Followed leaders. Made home bend awkwardly and shifted out. Only one-paced when asked for effort after straightening.
10 8 STAR OF WAH YAN (BP105) D Harrison B/TT Behind midfield. Was checked before straightening and went back to near rear. Made a little ground in straight but never likely.
11 7 FOREVER GOLD (BV342) R Fradd -- Around midfield and wide. Improved a little approaching home bend then only moderate response until giving ground final 200 M.
12 13 GRENADIER (BT132) K C Tsang B Sat off lead and 3-wide. Failed to respond after 400 M and commenced to give ground on straightening.
13 3 MISSION SEALED (BN100) K S Yu B Near rear after being crowded early. Improved from 600 M to be wide in midfield turning in. Gave ground shortly after straightening.
14 12 OPTIC CHIEF (BV072) A Marcus -- Behind leaders. Was keeping on only one-paced when severely checked after 400 M. No extra afterwards.
