8 8 JUBILOSO (CD381) B Prebble B Bounced out, restrained to obtain cover, unable to slot in and forced to race 3-wide without cover in midfield, improved to be 5Ls down on circle, did plenty of work to turn, kept to task to 200 M but was one-paced late.
9 5 MAN IN THE MIRROR (CH058) D Nikolic -- Average jump, faded back to hold a midfield position, raced 2-wide 6-7Ls away, not asked in mid-section, pushed along turning in, made a little ground to 600 M but very one-paced last furlong just plugging to line.
10 11 SOLAR EMPIRE (CB299) K W Tsui -- Jumped with rest, showed plenty of speed to take up running, kept going at a strong pace 1L clear, kept them chasing turning in, couldn't find when pressure applied and weakened noticeably late.
