4 11 MONTA FRUTTA (H455) M Chadwick H/TT Guided to a rail position in midfield, cut the corner home turn and moved up to 3rd early straight, battled on evenly and just missed a minor placing in a tight finish.

10 7 WINGS OF WAR (H162) B Avdulla B-/PC1/TT Settled in mid-division along the 3-path, couldn't finish off when the race got serious, never a winning hope.
11 10 MIGHTY ARMOUR (H071) H T Mo B-/H-/PC1/TT From wide draw shifted across behind runners, got too far back straightening, lacked finishing effort.
