Racing Incident Report

BEAR WITH ME was difficult to load, then after being boxed became fractious, reared and got down. Acting on veterinary advice, BEAR WITH ME was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, BEAR WITH ME will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. On jumping, SPEED WIN bounded in the air. Near the 800 Metres, BLESSINGS' PARTNER was steadied when awkwardly placed behind FLAMENCO STAR and tight on the inside of WELL EXPRESS. FLAMENCO STAR made the Home Turn awkwardly with its head up. On straightening, SPEED WIN was steadied and shifted out from behind DELIGHTFUL SPECIAL. On straightening, MY CHIEF was steadied when awkward behind BLESSINGS' PARTNER and tight inside SPEED WIN. Also on straightening, WELL EXPRESS and SONIC bumped. Near the 200 Metres, KASHMAC was steadied and shifted out to avoid GOOD SPIRIT and shortly after this KASHMAC was steadied and shifted in to avoid PRIVATE LIFE. Just after the 200 Metres, BONANZA, which was finishing off strongly, was steadied and shifted in abruptly to avoid SONIC. In the Straight, ACE OF PACE initially shifted in, because of this W C Marwing changed the whip into his right hand and in the run to the winning post ACE OF PACE shifted out. ACE OF PACE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
