Racing Incident Report

The Stewards deferred the declaration of Weighed-In. They were concerned as to whether SWEET VICTORY had been denied a fair start in accordance with Rule 28(ix). After viewing the available films, the Stewards formed the opinion that when the gates opened, SWEET VICTORY was standing satisfactorily, then refused to jump away. Before being allowed to race again, SWEET VICTORY will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. HAVE A GOOD TIME left the gates very awkwardly, as a consequence lost a lot of ground. In the early stages, SPARTAN and PROSPEROUS DYNASTY bumped several times. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, CLASSIC DANCER hung out, this caused some inconvenience to STORM BOY, then in the early part of the Straight, CLASSIC DANCER and STORM BOY came together several times. On straightening, HOLLYWOOD STAR was momentarily awkward on the heels of SOUNDS GOOD. About the 300 Metres, CLASSIC DANCER was steadied to avoid MILLENNIUM LEGEND which shifted out to find running and go forward. EVERWELL FOREVER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, it was reported that THREE COINS was bleeding from both nostrils.
