Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, CHIVAS LAD reared and threw its head about. FOR MY WISHES and STRATEGIC MOVE were slowly away. SCENIC STAR jumped awkwardly, then for a short distance just after the start raced tight between CITY PATROL and CALIFORNIA TYCOON. In the middle stages, TRAVELLER STAR proved difficult to settle. About the 700 Metres, SAINTLY PARTNERS was momentarily unbalanced when bumped by SCENIC STAR. ELECTRONIC SEEKER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that FOR MY WISHES was very lame it its near side front leg. Before being allowed to race again, FOR MY WISHES will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and it will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
