Racing Incident Report

On leaving the gates, WEALTHY TOGETHER shifted out abruptly and bumped DANZIG CONTINENTAL. RECOGNITION jumped awkwardly. On jumping, HOLE IN ONE and GRAND FIGHTER bumped. GRAND FIGHTER then shifted out and caused inconvenience to MULTIZEN which was crowded onto YAN CHAI ELITE. In the early stages, HOLE IN ONE had a tendency to lay in. Also in the early stages, YAN CHAI ELITE was taken in by RECOGNITION which had a tendency to get its head up and race close to the heels of GRAND FIGHTER. About the 700 Metres, CHAMPION BOMB was unbalanced when awkward on the heels of HOLY WINE. Throughout the race, PROFITEER was wide and at no stage had any cover and just on straightening drifted out, as a consequence BRILLIANT LEADER was able to improve through on its inside. Near the 200 Metres, HOLY WINE was momentarily shifted out to look for a run, this caused some inconvenience to CHAMPION BOMB. To obtain running, HOLE WINE was shifted back in and improved along the rail. In the run to the winning post, METRO TRAVELLER shifted out. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon said CHAMPION BOMB had sustained a laceration to the outside of its near side hock.
