Racing Incident Report
CAITANO was slowly away. On jumping, EMISSION knuckled. SOBIESKI jumped awkwardly and was then ridden along to go forward. Turning out of the Straight the first time, HELENE VITALITY got its head up and became unbalanced when being steadied from behind ELECTRONIC UNICORN. Also turning out of the Straight the first time, JIM AND TONIC proved somewhat difficult to settle and when being restrained threw its head about. About the 1800 Metres, CAITANO was steadied when momentarily tight inside ELECTRONIC UNICORN which itself was close to the heels of SOBIESKI. After the 1000 Metres, SOBIESKI shifted out from behind INDIGENOUS and made contact with INDUSTRIAL PIONEER. For some distance after this, INDUSTRIAL PIONEER and SOBIESKI raced tight. INDIGENOUS and INDUSTRIAL PIONEER were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that INDIGENOUS was lame in its near side front leg. Before racing again, INDIGENOUS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
