Racing Incident Report
Just before the gates opened, SIGHT FIRST became restless and got its head down, then when the start was effected, SIGHT FIRST came out very awkwardly and as a consequence of this W Woods was momentarily unbalanced in the saddle, then in the middle stages the saddle on SIGHT FIRST shifted back, this placed W Woods at a considerable disadvantage over the concluding stages. On jumping, DRIFTING AWAY threw its head about. About the 800 Metres, TWEET was steadied to avoid BRILLIANT which momentarily shifted in. When TWEET steadied, some inconvenience was caused to HAPPY ECLIPSE which was following. About the 300 Metres, BLAZING BOB was accidentally hit on the head by the whip of Apprentice Y T Cheng (SAI KUNG STAR). Shortly after this, BLAZING BOB and SAI KUNG STAR came together. SIGHT FIRST was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
