Racing Incident Report

GOLDEN CHOICE left the gates awkwardly with its head up, as a consequence of this Apprentice M W Leung lost his off side iron for some distance. FLYING MAGIC was slowly away and then tailed off. The performance of FLYING MAGIC was unacceptable. The horse will not be allowed to race again until it performs satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. It will also be subjected to an official veterinary examination. On jumping, MONEY WINS was unbalanced when crowded between HIN YUEN'S UNICORN and SMILING FOREST, both of which shifted ground. About the 800 Metres, GOLDEN CHOICE became unbalanced and shifted ground when close to the heels of INTERVENE. As a consequence of this, inconvenience was caused to THE GREATEST which was following and obliged that horse to travel wider. In the middle stages, WILFUL FLIGHT was inclined to over-race and shifted ground when awkwardly placed on the heels of CITY PATROL. Throughout the race, MONEY WINS hung out.
